YOU CANNOT DISMAY US THROUGH ATTACKS
The attacks on our party are increasing as the elections are approaching. So far, 60 different places including our party offices, party headquarters, cars, members and volunteers have been attacked. The attacks against our branches in Mersin and
Adana this morning show the dangerous level of developments. At least 6 members and workers of our party were wounded in these attacks.
It is desired to hinder our party’s progress and our electoral campaign by activating dark circles supported by the political power in place. President Erdoğan in particular, the prime minister and other AKP government members are politically responsible for these attacks. The mentality that points our party as a target, insults and defames our co-presidents, party administrators and candidates in each and every speeches has shown up once again in Adana and Mersin today.
It has to be clear that no force can prevent the HDP from embracing the peoples of Turkey. Our call for the “new life” and “great humanity” is continuing to energize in and all around Turkey.
We condemn vehemently the bomb attacks on our Mersin and Adana branch buildings and waiting for the authorities concerned to bring the responsibles to the open.
