PUK Political bureau calls for an end to the Turkish airstrikes that targeted areas inside Kurdistan region territories.
The statement recalls the first ceasefire agreement that had been reached between PKK and the Turkish government during the late Turgut Ozal era in 1993 with a mediation from Mam Jalal. “The PUK and from its concerns to peace and stability, calls on Turkey to end its attacks on Kurdistan since all Kurdish fighters (guerrilla and peshmarga) are engaged in a tough fight against ISIS terrorists. Meanwhile the PUK calls on PKK to be tolerate and it is the responsibility of the AK party to foil the opportunity in face of the foes of peace inside Turkey”
