Roşîn Hido from the Afrin Human Rights Organization provided information about the crimes committed by the Turkish state and its mercenaries in Afrin in the last two months. Hido said that the crimes committed by the Turkish state and its mercenaries are continuing in the public eye. “Six people, including a woman, were killed and 95 people, 8 of whom were women, were kidnapped in Afrin in October and November,” she added.

Hido noted that the Turkish state and its mercenaries also targeted the historical and cultural values of the region, plundering historical places such as Nabi Huri and Qibar.

She stated that destruction of nature also continues. 3,000 olive trees have been cut down in Afrin in the last two months and put on the market for sale.

Nothing in the region has survived the brutality of the Turkish state, Hido revealed, adding, “Olive oil and olive products, two basic means of existence for the people of the region, are smuggled into Turkey. From there, they are sold to Europe as Turkish products.”

Appealing to human rights organizations, Hido demanded that the crimes committed by the Turkish state be stopped.
