Journalist Toon Lambrechts traveled several times to Rojava, the Kurdish regions in Syria, and to Shengal (Sinjar), the Yezidi city in Iraq, which in August 2014 was ethnically purified by the Islamic State. He made a moving photo report for the Kurdish Institute about these journeys, which can be borrowed from us.
Painting exhibition
The paintings of Yezidi artists Djamila Gassoian can be borrowed through us, if desired with a lecture by the artist during the opening of the exhibition.
