In Kurdistan, the use of Kurdish as a language is in many ways being discouraged and even banned. Many Kurds therefore have never had the opportunity to learn or even speak their own language.

The Kurdish Institute offers courses in Kurdish, for Kurds who want to get to know their mother tongue and for those who want to learn a unique language.
