Onslaught by state forces continues against civilian people in Amed’s central Sur district which remains under a heavy curfew for 16 days.

As tension remains high across the district since early this morning, state forces targeted 3 houses with artillery fire in Hasırlı neighborhood Thursday afternoon.

While all the three houses were heavily damaged,  7 people in one of them got wounded by case shots, including a child. Two among them are reported to have suffered serious injuries.

HDP Amed deputy Sibel Yiğitalp said no health staff has been sent to the scene yet as ambulances are not being allowed into the area for days now.
