Since 2015, under the pretext of fighting the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), Turkey’s attacks on the Kurdistan Region of Iraq resulted in the death of 110 civilians and the injury of 186.

The following research uses reports from news media to show the impact on civilians of the Turkish Armed Forces’ repeated attacks throughout the Kurdistan Region, including disputed territories. Due to difficulties in reporting on these attacks, the actual numbers of civilians killed, and wounded may be higher.

Please find here beneath the complete overview starting from August 2015 until Auguts 2022. These figures are confirmed by reliable, neutral sources and media, including Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, National Iraqi News, France 24, etc.
