A huge blast on Monday afternoon at the center of Syrian northern Kurdish city of Kobani left at least 15 people killed and many others wounded.
“A suicide bomber blasted itself at the center of the city and killed dozens of people,” Syrian Kurdish Journalist Zara Mustu told Kurdpress. She stressed many buildings were damaged in the blast and many people are feared injured in window breakings. The activist added local officials put the responsibility of the attacks on extremist group of the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant or Jabhat al- Nusra. It is worth mentioning that Syria Kurdish regions have witnessed various attacks of the extremist groups in the last year.”
