“The internal Kurdish-Kurdish dialogue in Rojava. Where are we today? ”

It goes without saying that the autonomous and democratic region in Northeast Syria (Rojava) is under constant pressure and threat because of the adjoining autocratic regimes. But what about the internal understanding and cooperation between the various Kurdish parties and tendencies in Rojava? In the past, this has not always gone smoothly.

The Kurdish Institute succeeded to invite 3 speakers who will analyze and comment on this theme from a critical perspective. 

• Şêrwan Hesen and Akram Hamo are both human rights activists and each represents a tendency within the Kurdish movement.
• Ludo De Brabander, spokesperson for Vrede vzw, will not only moderate the conversation, but – thanks to his knowledge and expertise – will also express substantive points of view.

As with the previous session, it promises to be another exciting debate.
