Last days I have received several e-mails and phone calls from Greek media regarding my book "Kill The War Prisoner" on the occupation of Cyprus in 1974, a purely documentarian book based on strong interviews with Turkish special soldiers and officers.
The interest from Greek and Cyprus media is understandable, since missing Greek-Cypriots human tragedy became again a hot potato in Greece and Cyprus, after a shocking interview with a former Turkish soldier regarding what happened during the occupation.
My book was published in Greece by Kastaniotis Edition, Athens in 2002. My honorary from the book sales was given by me to three (3) Greek victim children in Cyprus. However I’ve been strongly disappointed that my book has been brutally misused by Kastaniotis Edition.
I had signed an agreement with the publisher Athanassios Kastaniotis on 7 September 2001 which has been seriously violated.
First of all, Kastaniotis Edition didn’t inform me how many thousand copies they printed out, they were suspiciously afraid to put any numbers about that in the signed agreement.
Secondly, the publisher Athanassios Kastaniotis has seriously violated point number 9 in the agreement which states clearly that "The Publisher (Athanassios Kastaniotis) will submit statements together with royalties due to the Proprietor once a year to December 31".
The reality is that, according our proves, photos and sales rapports, the publisher Athanassios Kastaniotis reprinted my book many times since 2002 and continued to sell it at least until the end of 2008, without even to inform me or to pay any cent to me.
After hard pressure and facts from my side during many years, at the end Kastaniotis Edition had to accept the violation crime that they reprinted my book many times and sold it many years without to inform me. However I tried to find a solution so that Kastaniotis Edition pays the full price for all the reprinted copies of my book. But unfortunately so long they have remained silent.
I will leave the comments on this shameless history of the Kastaniodis edition to the Greek people.
Please, find attached the summary of the Greek media comments on my book.
 Thank you for your attention
Sincerely Yours
